People stealing dogs

I was talking to the vet nurse doing microchipping in the local pet shop and she was telling me that people are going out stealing dogs again from allover near me and as far as leeds that she knows of.These people are going into peoples gardens and takin the dogs so they can breed them and sell the puppies.These people know what there doing they have there own microchip scanner and if when they scan the dogs they have stolen and they are chipped or have been neutered they are just dumping the poor things out on the streets,but if they are not microchipped they are chipping them thereselves.12 dogs were found somewhere near leeds.
People like them are scumbags and really make my blood boil and i just thought i would let you guys know so you can keep your gaurd up n eyes peeled for anything similar happening near where you live or incase anyone lives close to me.

hmmm.........yes unfortunately as people suffer with the recession, things like this I guess could be on the rise. But I hadn't heard anything in the papers.

micro chipping is really a good way to trace and identify your pet once stolen...
