Hi there, new to this forum but really hoping someone can help out!

we have a beautiful giant french lop buck who is prob just about 3 years old.
He lives in the house and up until recently has been toilet trained.

A little while back he had wee'd on the floor and not in his litter tray. This was of course cleaned up & bleached to try & remove any scent but it seems that he is still weeing on the floor and not in his litter tray.

We did change hi slitter tray after reading that they dont like the smell of their litter trays a times, this doesnt seem to have made a great deal of difference

He will go in his litter tray and leave droppings and even occasionally he will wee in there but it seems that every morning when we come down he has wee'd next to his litter tray.

I wouldnt say that anything seems wrong with him in terms of his personality or anything like. When he has gone in his litter tray we reward him with a small treat. He drinks enough water & not anything excessive, his diet os of the green rabbit pellets, we dont really feed him veg (carrots, green beans etc).

He has been so good for ages and isnt bad behaved nor would I say he seems depressed or anything but we just cant seem to get him out of this habit which I fear will be making an unpleasant smell in the house!

Is this just a bad habit he has got into and needs to be toilet trained again??? It didnt take him long to get into using the indoor litter tray when we first got him but it seems to be impossible to retrain him!

get the vet to check his urine (microscopy for bacteria etc) to confirm its not a urinary infection, cystitis; and check the urine concentration is normal also...
but yes, i guess it to do with the litter tray!
try a few trays in different places in the room and see if he favours a particular one?
